Stroke Development Squad

Newburn run a swim development scheme on a Saturday morning from 8 till 9 am for children who are involved in a learn to swim programme and hold at least a stage 4 award or equivalent.

This session is for young people who are eager to get involved in club swimming.

It can also bridge the gap between school and club swimming lessons.

This is a great opportunity for children to refine stroke technique and develop skills which are required in a swim club.

The scheme costs just £20 per month - payable in advance and includes insurances.

All sessions are taken by highly qualified CRB checked club coaches and swimmers will be given opportunities to attend open trials to join Newburn ASC.
