SWIM FEES

Annual Club Membership Fee

The Annual Club Membership runs from 1st April and is currently £40 per individual swimmer or £70 per family of 2 swimmers or £90 per family of 3 or more swimmers.

Forms will be given out by Coaches from 20th February each year.  Forms should be returned by 1st March with the correct fee. The club do not accept cash payments so cheques only please.

Monthly Membership Fees

The monthly membership fees are reviewed each year, according to how much money the club needs to run efficiently. This review takes into account the return via membership fees, income from galas and any fundraising that takes place through the year.  The club is a non-profit making organisation, and in most cases, the club will use all of this money to support the swimmers throughout the year.

The following fees apply from the 1st Feb 2007 and have been frozen until 1st Feb 2009 when a further review by the committee will take place:

A Squad £50.00

B Squad £40.00

AB Squad £35.00

C Squad £25.00

Competitive Development £28.00

Skill Development £23.00

Teaching Squad £21.00

A monthly standing order form should be obtained from the club on joining or can be obtained by E-mailing admin@newburnasc.co.uk.

Note: Families with more than one swimmer will receive a 10% discount on their monthly swim fees. For families with 3 or more swimmers a maximum fee of £100 will apply. 

Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) Membership Fee

In addition to the above club fees swimmers must also register with the ASA.  Forms will be made available by the club.  If you need to discuss any issues with the ASA fee please ask for Karyn Ellis at the pool. 

The Annual Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) Registration is currently £17.50 for competitive swimmers and £4.25 for non competitive swimmers or children aged 8 years and under between January to December.  All ASA fees are forwarded directly to the ASA by the club.

In the event that swimmers are linked to more than one club then dual registration forms must also be completed.

All the forms must be completed as soon as possible and handed back to the club Membership Secretary or Treasurer. CHILD PROTECTION

Consideration has been given to each question by the ASA Legal Department and the Independent Child Protection Officer (ICPO) and appropriate recommendations were provided.  If you have any further questions which you would like answered please either ask the Committee.
